An Intergenerational Storytelling Project
Last Spring, our Center for Older Adults partnered with students at Kensington Creative & Performing Arts High School on a photography and video project: The Beauty of Time, linked here. Over several months, students visited LSH to interview and photograph members. Not only did the project help forge new relationships between Philadelphians several generations apart, but it also allowed us to celebrate our community and learn new things about old friends. Oh, and the students also won $20,000 for their school in the process! Read more about the award here.
